1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the Powerroute website (www.powerroute.sbs), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please discontinue use of our website immediately.
2. Services Provided
Powerroute specializes in providing comprehensive termite protection solutions for timber decking and wooden roof trusses. Our services include:
- Chemical Treatment Systems: Application of termiticide barriers and wood preservatives for long-term protection
- Baiting Systems: Installation and monitoring of termite bait stations for environmentally-conscious pest management
- Inspection Services: Professional assessment of termite activity and structural vulnerability
- Consultation Services: Expert advice on choosing between chemical and baiting systems based on your specific needs
- Maintenance Programs: Ongoing monitoring and maintenance of installed protection systems
3. Service Quotations and Estimates
All quotations provided by Powerroute are estimates based on the information available at the time of assessment. Final pricing may vary depending on:
- Actual extent of termite infestation discovered during treatment
- Accessibility challenges at the treatment site
- Additional materials or services required for effective treatment
- Changes in scope requested by the client
Quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise specified. We reserve the right to adjust pricing if work commences after this period.
4. Service Warranties and Guarantees
4.1 Chemical Treatment Warranty
Chemical termite treatments are warranted against termite re-infestation for a period specified in your service agreement, typically ranging from 1 to 5 years, subject to:
- Regular annual inspections conducted by Powerroute
- No structural modifications made to treated areas without prior consultation
- Prompt notification of any suspected termite activity
- Compliance with all maintenance recommendations provided
4.2 Baiting System Warranty
Baiting systems are warranted for the duration of your active monitoring agreement. The warranty covers:
- Regular monitoring visits as specified in your agreement
- Replacement of consumed bait materials
- Re-treatment if termite activity is detected within the protected zone
Note: Baiting systems require ongoing monitoring and maintenance. Warranties are void if monitoring services are discontinued.
4.3 Warranty Exclusions
Our warranties do not cover damage resulting from:
- Pre-existing termite damage prior to our treatment
- Termite species not covered in the original treatment plan
- Structural modifications or renovations performed without our consultation
- Failure to maintain recommended moisture control measures
- Natural disasters, flooding, or extreme weather events
- Neglect or failure to report termite activity in a timely manner
5. Client Responsibilities
To ensure the effectiveness of our termite protection services, clients agree to:
- Provide accurate information about the property and any known termite history
- Ensure access to all areas requiring treatment or inspection
- Remove or relocate items that may obstruct treatment as advised
- Maintain adequate ventilation and moisture control in treated areas
- Schedule and allow access for regular monitoring visits
- Notify Powerroute immediately of any suspected termite activity
- Refrain from disturbing installed bait stations or treated areas
6. Payment Terms
Payment terms for Powerroute services are as follows:
- Deposit: A deposit of 50% is required upon acceptance of quotation to secure scheduling
- Final Payment: Balance payment is due upon completion of services
- Monitoring Agreements: Annual or periodic monitoring fees are payable in advance
- Late Payments: Payments not received within 14 days of invoice date may incur a late fee of 1.5% per month
- Payment Methods: We accept bank transfers, credit cards, and approved payment platforms
7. Cancellation and Rescheduling
We understand that circumstances may require changes to scheduled appointments:
- Client Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 48 hours before scheduled service may incur a cancellation fee of up to 25% of the service cost
- Rescheduling: Services may be rescheduled without penalty if notice is provided at least 48 hours in advance
- Weather-Related Delays: Powerroute reserves the right to reschedule services due to adverse weather conditions that may affect treatment efficacy
- Refund Policy: Deposits are refundable if cancellation occurs more than 7 days before scheduled service, minus a 10% administrative fee
8. Limitation of Liability
While Powerroute strives to provide the highest quality termite protection services, our liability is limited as follows:
- Our total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid for the specific service in question
- We are not liable for consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of profits, or structural damage resulting from termite activity
- We are not responsible for damage to landscaping, fixtures, or property that may occur during necessary treatment procedures, though we take all reasonable precautions
- Chemical treatments are performed using approved products according to manufacturer specifications; we are not liable for unforeseen reactions or sensitivities
Important: Clients are strongly encouraged to maintain comprehensive property insurance that covers pest damage and to review their policy terms regarding termite protection.
9. Health and Safety
Powerroute is committed to the health and safety of our clients, employees, and the environment:
- All chemical treatments use products approved by relevant regulatory authorities in Singapore
- Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) are available upon request for all chemicals used
- Clients will be informed of any necessary precautions, including temporary evacuation periods if required
- Baiting systems use low-toxicity products designed to target termites specifically
- Our technicians are trained and certified in safe application methods
- Clients must disclose any known allergies or sensitivities prior to treatment
10. Intellectual Property
All content on the Powerroute website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Powerroute or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission.
11. Privacy and Data Protection
Powerroute respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. We collect and use personal data in accordance with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). Information collected may include:
- Contact information (name, address, phone, email)
- Property details and treatment history
- Payment information
- Service preferences and communication records
This information is used solely for providing services, maintaining customer relationships, and improving our offerings. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties except as necessary to provide services or as required by law.
12. Dispute Resolution
In the event of any dispute arising from these Terms and Conditions or our services:
- Clients agree to first attempt resolution through direct communication with Powerroute management
- If direct resolution is not achieved, parties agree to mediation before pursuing legal action
- These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore
- Any legal proceedings shall be conducted in the courts of Singapore
13. Modifications to Terms
Powerroute reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Continued use of our services after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Clients with active service agreements will be notified of material changes that affect their existing agreements.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
15. Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions, together with any service agreements and quotations, constitute the entire agreement between Powerroute and the client regarding the services provided and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and representations.
